The EFLTLJ is a publicly available online-journal that includes the articles and philosophies on applied and general linguistics and related subjects developed from the investigations conducted by the researchers. English as a Foreign Language Teaching and Learning Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that welcomes submissions from across the world. Authors are asked to submit articles and research/discussion notes on topics relevant to teaching and learning a language in general and English in particular at different levels. Topics may vary as the interest in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching and learning varies. The topics can include second language acquisition in general and specialized contexts, needs analysis and assessment, curriculum design, materials development and evaluation, discourse analysis, descriptions of specialized varieties of English, teaching and testing techniques, the effectiveness of various approaches to language learning and teaching, and the training or retraining of teachers for the teaching of English. In addition, the journal welcomes articles and discussions that identify aspects of English Language Learning and Teaching (ELLT) needing development, areas into which the practice of ELLT may be expanded, possible means of cooperation between ELLT programs and learners’ professional or vocational interests, and implications that findings from related disciplines can have for the profession of ELLT. The journal also carries reviews of scholarly books on topics of interest to the profession.

Reflection Room

To be established, the Reflection Room is the journal’s main point of contact with media to expand the issues beyond its limits. Reflection Room is to release the latest news and ideas on Foreign Language Education (FLE), Foreign Language Teaching (FLT), and Foreign Language Literature (FLL) from local and international perspectives. In this section, the data is to be reviewed, validated, archived, and circulated throughout the scientific circles.

The EFLTLJ intends to work in cooperation with the researcher community, librarians, funders and other stakeholders in applied linguistics to develop policies to help researchers to share the innovations and their novel ideas.
